Yeahhh

So as you might've guessed if you're reading this, I forgot about this blog and stopped using it. I was just looking through this and remembered that I kinda used to have fun writing this crap. So uh. Anyway. I just wanted to make a post with a bunch of Spyros, since I defeated Gnasty Gnorc for the first time last night (I always got stumped because I could never catch up to him lmao).

This is one of my fav pictures of him.

I love how his eye looks here.

 Squinty boy

Another squinty boy. Another one of my fav pics of him.

squint

These next ones aren't Spyro, but I love them anyway.

Look at Sparx, he's so happy!

 My favs... the weather wizards.

Toasty, the best Spyro boss.

Cupids. I like the sound they make when you hit them.

I always hated chasing these guys, but they're so cute.

And no post about Spyro is complete without appreciating the beautiful skyboxes. They're some of my favorite parts from the games. They're just so beautiful!

From Gnorc Cove, one of my fav levels.

From another fav, Haunted Towers. The colors in this sky are so pretty.

Yet another fav, Blowhard.

So yeah. That's about it.

Pinky:St figure review

After almost a week of waiting, my Pinky:St figures have finally arrived! I've been thinking about them a lot this past week. For those of you who don't know what Pinky:St is, it's a Japanese brand of toys that are a few inches tall. You can swap their hair, heads, torsos, and legs. Most of them are statues and don't have any articulation. Also, most of them are stuck standing up. You have to buy specific ones in sitting poses if you want them to sit. And from what I've seen, the ones in the sitting poses also have shoulder articulation. (Don't take my word on that, I'm no Pinky expert). Pinky:St figures are discontinued, but you can still find them for around $10 USD on sites such as Amazon and Ebay. There are a few playsets that cost more. Figures that were made after anime characters also tend to be more expensive.

Enough of that! Let's get onto the review. (Warning: All these pictures are extremely half-assed and terrible) I haven't seen many reviews of Pinkies online, so I hope this will help answer any questions you have about them!

My girls and their alternate fashions that they came with.
(I kinda cut off some of their alternate fashions at the top, sorry)

The girl in all pink with the short hair (who looks surprisingly a lot like me!) has some... problems. Firstly, her head always comes off. Upon some closer inspection, I realized her neck peg is shorter than my other girls! She's from series 3, and my others are from series 6-8 and have longer necks. The hole on the back of her head is also shaped differently than my others.

Series 3 (right) and series 8 (left)

If you can't tell the difference in their neck sizes in that picture, I took another one.

The series 8 girl (who I named Jane) has an abnormally large head, too. It permits her from sharing her hair with some other figures, as shown in the picture below.

Jane's hair is large for my series 6 girl who I named Victoria, although she still looks okay in her hair. However, Victoria's hair is too small for Jane's head and there's a space where the pieces don't completely fit. Good one with that, guys. Speaking of fails, I practically died when I read the blurb that's on all the Pinky's cards.

Classic Engrish.

Here's how a Pinky's body works.

With my series 3 girl, who I named May.

You can remove the hair in two separate parts, and you can also remove skirts. Shoes, however, aren't removable. When the Pinky has its head on, you can also position it to look around. Top-heavy Pinkies with larger hair (such as Jane) or earlier ones with shorter necks (like May) have heads that fall off easier.

The Pinkies come with lots of teeny tiny accessories that could easily be misplaced, but some of the larger accessories were this bag/stuffed animal that came with my series 7 girl, Ayame, and a handbag that came with Jane. They both have problems, though. It's hard to fit Jane's handbag into the hands of my Pinkies, and Ayame's stuffed animal practically fell apart. Its head fell off, but you can just pop that right back in. One of its arms fell off, however, and I'll probably need to glue it back.

Sorry the arm that fell off is at such an awkward angle. It almost
looks like it could be part of the animal's tail.

Overall, Pinkies have their faults but are still cute figures to have out on display and make cute models for photos. I'll probably take some pictures of them outside when the weather gets nicer. It's spring but the weather is just TERRIBLE here. :/

I got these guys on sale for only around $5 and a half-ish bucks each with free shipping. If I'd paid full price for them, I'd probably be pissed because of the faulty accessories and just Jane's head in general. It falls off all the time and she can't even share hair with any of the other Pinkies. Maybe she can share hair with the other Pinkies from her series? I dunno. And when I first  got Victoria, she had some slight paint flecks visible on her face but I was able to remove that with a dab of nail polish remover.

The bottom line? I really like them. Sure, they aren't the GREATEST quality figures, but for the typical $10 price range they're nice. Besides, you get two outfits with them. What more could you ask for?

I'll end this post with a blurry picture of girlfriends Victoria and Ayame holding hands as best they can. :P

...Where are their mouths? Lmao

EDIT: I was finally able to get the head off my series 7 girl Ayame and her head is just a bit smaller than Jane's. She can't share hair with Victoria either, it's also too small on her. It kinda pisses me off because the whole point is that they can share everything, but they really can't if their heads are different sizes?? And Victoria's head is way smaller than everybody else's, too.

Flickr

I finally made a Flickr account you can visit by clicking here. I don't know how often I'll be able to upload photos but I'll try to upload sometimes. I love photography so I have no shortage of old photos that I could upload if I'm not able to take any new ones for some reason.

BJD AIs

So, I've always thought ball jointed dolls (BJDs) were really nice and beautiful, but they're always way too expensive for me. Last weekend I got to thinking about buying some and checked out these cute ones called Brownies, but they're very small and cost around $300 with a complete face-up and outfit. Er... yeah, no thanks. However, I have found out about some BJDs that are about the same size as these Brownies and are ridiculously inexpensive: BJD AIs by Jun Planning/Groove.

I almost wish I didn't even find out about these dolls because they're literally all I've been thinking about for the past few days. They're sold anywhere from $30-120, from what I've seen. Not bad for such cute dolls! My absolute favorite is this darling girl, Thyme:

LOOK AT HER AAAHH!!

This one is my second favorite. I recently found out about her and I hope she won't start to cloud my thoughts like Thyme has too. Her name is Denphalae:

She looks like a bad girl.

All the dolls are named after various plants and they come in four different face molds. One is pouty (like Thyme and Denphalae), one is smiling slightly, one is asleep, and the other one is supposed to be sleepy, but I don't really see how. My friend says it looks grouchy.

You be the judge.

Some people say their AIs have really tight stringing, which I hope isn't the case when I get Thyme. I don't have enough money to get her now but hopefully I can get her soon!! I'm thinking about calling her Annabelle or Octavia or something when I get her.

Well, I can't really think of anything else to talk about in this post so I guess this concludes it. Bye for now!

The ponies finally arrived!!!

I wasn't expecting my ponies to come till Saturday but they actually came yesterday and were sitting on the table when I came home from school!! I was so happy because I'd had a shitty day at school and this really made me happy.

Here they are when they first arrived. Tropical Breeze is laying on her tail in this picture. I'll give you close-up pictures of these guys' (guys's?) flaws.

I was happy to see Sundance actually doesn't have tail rust like I'd predicted! She has a blue mark that's sorta shaped like a heart (you can't tell in this shitty pic) but at least it's on her NDS. She also has some scattered age spots and some rubs on her eyes. She's got some small dots on her legs on her DS but you'd have to get close to see them. Her hair is the driest out of all the ponies I've ever gotten, but she's way cuter than I'd expected so that makes up for it. She also had some surface dirt on her underside for some reason and I tried to scrub at that.

There's nothing that wrong with Tropical Breeze--especially not her hair! I don't know if you can tell in this pic or not but her hair is actually very curly--I'm wondering if it's a factory curl? Either way I'm keeping it like that because I love it. Her DS symbol has been rubbed and in the spot where it's rubbed there's an age spot. She also has two other age spots but her hair covers one of them up. She also has some very faint blue marks on her DS front leg but I don't really notice them that much. A lot of these ponies have flaws I don't notice that much that I forgot to mention about in my Tumblr post about them haha. :P And, typical of Flutters, she's lacking her wings. However, unlike my other Flutters she actually doesn't have any shards from the wings still stuck in the holders.

Now we move onto Curly Locks, the poorest condition pony in this lot. I don't know if you can tell in this pic but she has a brown stain on her lip and also some faint remnants of what looks to be red and blue "eyeshadow" that some kid must've given her a long time ago. She only has the "eyeshadow" on this eye though, which is strange. Maybe the kid found out they didn't like it so only did it on one eye.

She has lots of marks on her NDS that I wasn't able to remove. She has lots of age spots scattered on her NDS, back, and on one of her DS legs but her hair covers that up. Her bent front leg also bends in a little bit but it doesn't affect the way she stands so it doesn't really bother me that much. Of course, her tail mechanism doesn't work anymore and her tail is a lot shorter than it should be. Oh well, at least she has a tail at all! Her hair was also very disgusting but I was able to fix that thankfully.

Here they are after I washed them. Tropical Breeze didn't need anything and Sundance needed a little surface cleaning and a hair brushing. I tried to get some of the marks of Curly Locks but of course I couldn't, but I was at least able to clean her hair so it looks nicer. Here's a picture I just took of them today all nice and dry:

On your right you will see Barbie's legs being sniffed by a white monster toy.

I'm really happy with how Curly Locks' hair turned out. It's very nice and soft and it's a lot thicker than the average pony's hair. I've had a lot of fun playing with it and styling it. Playing with pony hair is my favorite thing to with the MLP so of course this ranks Curly Locks as one of my new favorites.

So even though these guys were sold as a bait lot I'm still happy with them. I'm not a picky collector and I basically got them for around $4 each which isn't that bad at all.

Well, that concludes this long-ish post. Bye for now!

Happy 57th!

Happy 57th birthday, Barbie! Hard to believe she's that old.

Here to celebrate this day is my 35th anniversary reproduction of the very first Barbie!

Childhood online games

These are the main online games I used to play when I was a kid. The first game I ever played was Neopets. I never did the boards because that was restricted to me 'cause I was too young. I got into Neopets in like 2013 and occasionally go on there now. I still follow a lot of Neopets blogs on Tumblr for some reason though?? I don't know. Here are all my pets, and no I haven't fed them in a while because I don't care.

Seven years. Jesus Christ.

Ah yes, you may see I have a gallery specializing in gross foods.

Some time after that I started playing Poptropica. My main accounts were named Purple Seal, Comical Seal, and Comical Peanut. I imagined they were all sisters. I played on Comical Peanut the most so I'll show you that profile. All her friends on there are some of the bajillion other accounts I made on there. Seriously I made so fucking many. Not even joking one day I made like forty different accounts, then lost the paper I wrote all the info on. Ah, Poptropica has so many nice memories. One of my old friends and I used to go on there and play islands and she used to help me with some of them.

She has the 24 Carrot ears on because I was replaying that island. It was always my fav.

Now they've switched to having a shitty membership service and they have all these new stupid islands that frankly I'm not interested in.

Now Moshi Monsters. I started playing this around 2010 or something?? I had a couple side accounts but I played on my main the most. I had oodles of friends on there and actually had a membership on there for a while! That's only because I could buy a membership card from Walmart without Mom having to pay online with her credit card, which she didn't wanna do. Anyway, here's part of the room on my main Moshi Monsters account, audpnut5600.

Jesus this is an old screenie, I have G1-G4 Twilight as my Firefox background!
(Btw, you can clearly see I'm literally ROLLING IN the rox)

Like Neopets, I never really used the forums when I went on there when I was little. I'm sure as hell glad I didn't because I went on there when I was like 14 and it was filled with a bunch of assholes. I even got into this petty fight on there with this stupid bitch who insisted I respect her and not crack harmless jokes on her threads. What a loser lmao.

Now Fantage! I started playing this in May 2010. I had three accounts: A main and two sides. I always loved Fantage. I met my first real internet friend on there, named Desiree. We talked on there occasionally and it was fun as hell. I wonder whatever happened to her?

Here's my profile on there:

I saved this next one specially for last because sometimes I still get sad when I think about it. Build-a-Bearville, or as it later came to be known as simply Bearville. Out of aaaaaall the games on here I used to play Bearville the most. They shut it down last spring and I was so sad. I took screenshots of some things there so I would always be able to remember them.

I started playing Bearville in May 2009 after my friend (the one who I used to play Poptropica with) got me a gift card for BAB workshop for my birthday. I got my first bear there, Pink Rainbow, and started playing on the online game. Then at the end of that year I got my second bear, Stuffles, and then the following spring I got my next bear, Shamrock01. Around my birthday I got another one, Stripe. When I got her I got to talking to the cashier and I even did this quest for her on Bearville and she gave me a code for this inflatable ice cream hot air balloon. It was fun as hell. Then eventually I got another bear named Cocoa, another one named Lilac, and finally when I entered sixth grade I got my seventh and final bear--er, bunny--Flopsy May. I also had two Smallfries, a cat and a mini version of Pink Rainbow who I named Purple Rainbow.

I remember every summer they used to have this "summer camp" called Camp Happy Heart and I always used to play it. It was so fun. And they used to have songs you could play on there that were bear themed, and the minigames you could play on there were fun, and I just loved all of it. I'm still salty about how they shut it down. Anyway, to conclude this post here are my Bearville screenies:

My profile: Clothes page.

My profile: Bears page.

My profile: Vehicles page

My profile: Bear's clothes page.

The exterior of my house. I had all three party rooms, a bunch of other rooms,
and I had a finished exterior so of course a bunch of people always came there.
You can see somebody was there when I took this screenshot too.

RIP Bearville 2008-2015
You will be in our hearts forever
